Punk Trend

It looks like the punk theme from this year’s Met Gala will be sticking around for fall. Borrowed From the Boys

The menswear influence is going strong for fall. Get in on this polished trend by adopting structured pieces, military inspiration, subdued colors and menswear patterns. Throw on an over-sized peacoat or try wearing classic suiting (preferably in houndstooth and herringbone) worn as separates. Pair them with fluid, sheer or lace pieces underneath to give the look a decidedly feminine touch.

Retro Ladylike

The feminine “New look” that Dior pioneered in the 40’s is back again this season. Think Hitchcock heroine chic.  Everything is either belted or tailored for a little fit and flare action that makes the waist a focal point. Make this trend your own by belting suits or belting blazers and cardigans over trousers and full skirts. Fab gloves are optional.
