7 Alexia Rodriguez’s Tattoos & Meanings

Alexia Rodriguez Tattoos Meanings – Symbols of Strength & Subversion

As fabulous guitarist and lead vocalist of Eyes Set to Kill, Alexia Rodriguez tattoos – currently numbering six – present a strong female image! In fact, Alexia Rodriguez tattoos put her firmly in the camp of warrior-women shown by the large tri-force symbol on her left foot.

And in the summer of 2010, Frankenstein’s monster gains a wife! Talented celebrity tattooist, Jime Litwalk, of Hart & Huntington Tattoo created the ultimate ‘odd couple’, on Alexia’s inner left arm with a stunning ‘bride of Frankenstein’ tat.

In Alexia Rodriguez tattoos, Mrs. Frankenstein has a purple shaded face, blue hair and a bright ochre-yellow hair highlight with matching eye-shadow. And with the streamlined style, this ‘fast lady’ looks like she’s riding a high-speed Harley!

Borrowed from the extremely popular Legend of Zelda game, this is one of Alexia Rodriguez tattoos that carries a warning – don’t mess with this feisty gal!

In Mary Shelley’s fantasy novel, Frankenstein, the monster was cobbled together by an over-ambitious young scientist, ‘Baron Frankenstein’, from bodies recently unearthed from tombs – creepy!

And on her left-wrist there’s a ‘jigsaw-puzzle heart’ outline – with one piece blacked-out showing Alexia is hurting from the loss of someone close or maybe it’s an ironic comment on the ups and downs we all suffer in our love lives!

Alexia Rodriguez tattoos began with the image of uneven, hand-drawn piano keys on her right-hand wrist taken from the artwork on the cover of The Ugly Organ album by Cursive (see below).

This fabulous addition to Alexia Rodriguez tattoos was done at the super-cool, Hard Rock Hotel in Las Vegas! In the swanky hotel’s luxury VIP back-room, it took just 3 hours to create the doomed bride, from start to ‘wiped-off’ finish. I love the ‘comic book’ style of Jime’s ‘bride of Frankenstein’, and the cool necklace around her neck!

Jime’s artistic version sticks close to the authentic Bride of Frankenstein ‘look’ portrayed by Elsa Martinelli, in the 1935 movie!

Then in autumn 2011, the living art of Alexia Rodriguez tattoos gained a new masterpiece from Hart & Huntington. Placed just above the elbow on her left arm, there’s a fabulous purple-outlined frowning skull, baring its teeth in anger!

With an orange daisy atop the skull and a red rose half-concealed by this relic of a dead human being, this is a truly unsettling image!
